New Heroes
In addition to the four Hero Character Classes in the Forbidden Fortress core set, there are also a variety of new and exciting Hero Classes available to add to your game.

Temple of Shadows Deluxe Expansion
There are 4 new Hero Classes in the Temple of Shadows Expansion - Soldier, Geisha, Kitsune, and Enforcer. Each of these new Heroes has a unique set of abilities, starting Gear, and Upgrades. Beyond those new Heroes, the Temple of Shadows Deluxe Expansion adds new material for Forbidden Fortress and the Belly of the Beast Otherworld, including new Map Tiles, 6 new Missions, and an army of new Enemies: 6 mutant Takobake Spearmen, 12 possessed Chochinobake lanterns, 3 large Skin Crawlers, and the mighty Fallen Shogun - The Legendary leader of the Takobake Clan who has mutated to enormous size! New cards in this expansion include Gear, Darkness, Growing Dread, Personal Items, Elemental Magik, and a new Adventure Card for setting your Missions in a Fallen Temple!

Old West Heroes
Forbidden Fortress is part of the Shadows of Brimstone system and setting. Gates between worlds, and portals through time allow you make mixed parties of characters from Feudal Japan, the American Old West, and places more alien and exotic.

Wandering Samurai Hero Class
The Wandering Samurai is a strong close combat fighter and expert swordsman, making him nearly unmatched in both attack and Defense. Building Fury as he strikes down Enemies, the Wandering Samurai then unleashes that Fury in the form of powerful Battle Tactics.

Cowboy Hero Class
The quintessential hero of the Old West, the life of a Cowboy is full of rough-riding adventure, fancy rope-work, and sleeping under the stars. Cowboys are a rough and tumble, hearty folk that can brush off most damage, be it physical or mental.

Drifter Hero Class
The Drifter is a veteran gunfighter, with long years of experience in fighting evil wherever they go. Drifters are rare and also have a supernatural element to them, with a penchant for long life and always being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Frontier Doc Hero Class
Though academic by nature, these crafty and resourceful medical men use their wits and experience to learn the weakness of their enemies, and then cut them to pieces in a fight. The Frontier Doc is a strong support character with the ability and resources to keep the Hero Posse in tip-top shape when it comes to Wounds, Injuries, and Mutations.

Gambler Hero Class
The Gambler is a master of manipulating cards and dice, using his Gambling Tricks to cheat the system or stack the deck in his favor. With a winning Poker Face and Lady Luck on his side, the Gambler can become a wealthy high roller in no time, always having a few tricks up his sleeve to get the job done.

Every day in the Swamps of Jargono is a struggle for survival against the carnivorous plants and beasts, and ruthless serpentmen. The Jargono Tribal Native is a fearsome warrior that specializes in close quarters combat and movement.

Orphan Hero Class
The Orphan is quick and agile, darting between Enemies, and constantly on the move. Though she does not have a lot of Health or Defense, the Orphan can quickly bounce back from damage and has a high tolerance for the horrors found out in the world.

Prospector Hero Class
The Prospector is a strong close combat fighter and can absorb a lot of damage before being KO’d. He also is the best around for collecting up Gold and Dark Stone, as his abilities allow him to earn double the amount found on most occasions.
